IDIOTS. THIS IS A 1978 CONCORD HATCBACK SPORT. I DROVE THE SAME MODEL FOR THREE YEARS IN COLLEGE. IT WAS A 258 TWO BARRELL SIX WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING. A GREAT CAR FOR A CHASE-TI HANDLED GREAT! MINE HAD 85 MPH ON THE SPEEDOMETER, BUT I WOUND THE CLOCK PAST 85 BACK AROUND TO THE 25 POSITION MANY TIMES. GOING BY HOW FAST I COVERED GROUND ON A TRIP HOME, I THINK THE CAR HAD A TOP SPEED OF ABOUT 125--AND THE AMC SIX TOOK A LOT OF ABUSE. I HAD BEEN USED TO DRIVING A 1970 MARK DONOHUE 390 V8. MY DAD WANTED TO SLOW ME DOWN. HE DID BUT ONLY ABOUT 20 MPH. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO CARS? I GOT CAUGHT SPEEDING 4 TIMES ON THE CONCORD. ON THE JAVELIN, NOONE EVER CAUGHT ME. |

There is a key labelled "Caps Lock" on your keyboard, presumably. |
