1939 Dodge (Chrysler and DeSoto also shared this body but taillights and trunklid ornaments look most like Dodge to me) |

"All 1939 Dodge models were called Luxury Liners, while their official title was Series D-11." (The Dodge Story, Crestline, pg 120) There were 2 distinct series, a Special Series (business coupe and 2 and 4 door sedan) and a DeLuxe Series. Models still had no specific names. |
