1958, and this looks like a Fletwood 75 Parlor Car to me. |

What is a "parlor car"? |

"Parlor car"? I never heard that expression before, although the interior appointments of these Fleetwood limousines were supposed to be as plush as the cosiest parlor or living room. This is a custom job, with shaved rear fins and Derham-styled, small, oval rear window. |

Waste of a nice car. Custom build Caddy less than 10 years old when this film was made. |

It was an extremely rare Formal Sedan by the Derham Body Co. of Rosemont, PA! The shaved tailfins were even rarer than the formal roof and I currently know of just one more 1958 Fleetwood Series Seventy-Five with that feature. The ornamental moldings were probably added later and don't look very "Derham" to me. |

If you ask me, taking the fins off just ruins the look of the car. Makes it look like the front and back come from opposite sides of the '50s. |
