It's hideous. It is a fantastic combination of a bubble and a duck. Seriously, I'd rather never drive a car then sit in one of those. It is so gross! How could any company do that! Man, I see why they redisgined it. Heck, the smart Fortwo looks attractive compared to this, this thing! |

It is ugly, very, very ugly. Thats how I feel in one sentence, but I think I could make a book about how ugly it is . And, ugly cars like the fortwo and Ford Taurus are okay, they aren't undecently hideous (I mean, you can look at them) like the Multipla. |

We can laugh at this Fiat, I don't like it either, but it was really a smart concept of car ... and one time again originality didn't pay for these manufacturers, such as AMC too in the 70's with its Pacer , a car which was very original too and, in a way, quite ahead of age for its design... |

This car is short (less than 4 metres) and wide. Its nimble and fun to drive, which is rare on this market segment. It is also 3+3 and have large glass area, something nice when you are passenger. The concept of nimble car for 6 persons, (quite)at ease in city area is interesting. I drove one, this car is far superior to Scenic/Picasso/Voyager. So it was a clever-half-déjà-vu-link! .gif ":)") There are actually two more reasons for this car: Due to its unusual design it sticks out of the anonymous mass of today's look-alike cars. So, if you dare to be different, but are not daring enough to drive an oldtimer, e.g. a Citroën DS, this is an alternative. But tast is not debatable, therefore here is a second reason: This vehicle can be driven on compressed natural gas (CNG), which in Germany is a lot cheaper than normal petrol. As long as this tax benefit for CNG stays this is a great car for families in urban areas. A friend of mine has this car ... and four kids! |

Did you wonder why Multipa is so ugly? Space frame structure, which makes it capable to install a liquid gas tank (ecologic and economic alt fuel for the European market), less than 4 mt. long, 3+3 seats (the center front seats can disappear), largest glass surface in the category. Every design item is functional (i.e. the straight door brackets, or the high beams under the windscreen) In a scene of insipid and look-alike mpv, Multipla is an original and unconventional choice. Just as it was Renaut 4, or Citroen 2cv, or Citroen Ami 6, or VW Beetle... Not beautiful cars, but clever cars. |
