No. Simca 1307 GLS. By the colour and side strip a 1979 only limited edition, whose name fir the French market I don't know. In my country, Italy it was marketed as "Superstrada" and in UK as Chrysler Alpine "SunSeeker". DSL commented one of the latter in this site.

There is no side strip or decal there, it is light reflection. The wheel looks like with 1307 S's (or 1308 GT's) black centre. These 1979 limited editions used to have different wheels. In 1979 the black bumpers started to appear in some Simcas of this type also in ordinary tim levels - in similarly mysterious way like they did since ca 1978 in some "ordinary" R5s and R14s (I know, it can't be in anyway related, but is interesting too). I mean - some cars have them, but so far I haven's seen this to be mentioned as extra option in period brochures.

Yes, it is interesting... abd you are right: no strips and I was totally wrong, since thatt's special edition strips were black and not white as the reflection could suggest.
