Either Bentley Arnage or Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. Isn't there any better shot? |

@chicomarx, any way to identify from these shots? |

If it's Bentley or RR? Probably not but let's give pple a chance. |

I think I got it (please correct me if I'm wrong): The lack of chrome around the plate (main pic) would determine it's an Arnage |

@johnfromstaffs, can I ask what you think? |

You can ask, by all means, but my knowledge more or less dries up at the same time as the Silver Cloud did. (1965) My personal Bentley is 1953. Sorry. -- Last edit: 2020-07-29 16:10:46 |

After doing some research, I think that the Silver Seraph had indeed a chrome strip around the rear plate and lights, but the Bentley didn't have it... |

That's what I was thinking also but I'm not sure if it's enough. |

It looks as if all (or most at least) of the short-lived Seraphs had chrome as mentioned. Arnages are more variable across several versions - body colour trim (so in this case black) seems common on 2000+ Arnage Red Label, 2002+ Arnage T and some of the small run limited editions. But other versions had chrome. So Arnage seems a good bet, but less safe for which one. Or as a long punt, maybe given film date it's product placement for a 2009 Final Series, conveniently illustrated in black. |

Hi, sorry to reopen the discussion (I know that it has nearly been a year), but I think that I have found an evidence that shows that the car is not a 2009 Final Series. If you look closely on the second thumbnail provided by midnight, you can see that it lacks the C-pillar badge that the 2009 Final Edition had. Since then, I have learned a lot more from Bentley, especially from the Arnage, and as a very knowleadgeable person of one, I can practically assure that this car is a 2004+ Bentley Arnage R. I may not be correct but I am not betting on this, but pointing it out as now I know the Arnage R (restyling) very closely thanks to life circumstances. |
