Imp, Minx, Ford Zodiac MkIV, Ford Anglia based Thames Van. That is the baseline model grille. The deluxe grille was wider and chrome plated. The cars were quite lively for the time with a rev happy short stroke ohv four cylinder engine and lightweight bodywork. They were rubbish in the snow, rear wheel drive and light, the back wheels would overtake the front ones if you didn’t take care. Did I have one? Yes. Just like this, same colours in and out, same model and version. https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1194660 -- Last edit: 2020-07-28 22:22:06 |

My uncle had got one when I was a child, a white De Luxe with a bright blue vinyl interior. |

1965 C plate on Imp. And on the van which is appropriately a Thames van on a Thames bridge. |
