think it's an Olds Cutlass Supreme "something", like 442. |

I believe it is the 1983-84 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais Hurst/Olds like this one /vehicle.php?id=104578 -- Last edit: 2007-11-29 21:02:50 |

Hurst...that's the word. But isn't it a Supreme and not a Calais? |

It was just called the "Hurst/Olds" (This cars actual name,"Hurst/Olds 15th Anniv")It was based off the '83 Calais. Very desirable & collectible car, believe it or not??? (This mostly Black one is a 1983.The 1984 was mostly Silver.) -- Last edit: 2007-11-30 02:13:35 |

it is a supreme not a calais-the calais was a cavalier sized fwd and the supreme is the rear wheel drive regal/monte carlo sized(same platform) car we see here. on these ones the 442 and hurst ones were just packages added to the cutlass supreme. |

The smaller "N" body car(Cutlass Calais,Grand Am,Somerset Regal/Skylark) debuted in 1985.Prior to this,the Cutlass Calais was a sportier version(Buckets,Console/Floor Shifter,tighter W-41 susp & brk pkg,etc)of the "Real" Cutlass. |

This is a 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais with the W40 package, which makes it a Hurst/Olds. The 15th Anniversary Edition. There were 3001 built. It is a G body platform from GM. |

Agreed. It is an '83 H/O, based off the Cutlass Calais. |
