 1/2 ton ambulance, predecessor to the 3/4 ton WC-54. 1/2 ton ambulances were WC-9/WC-18/WC-27 models.

 It is actually a wc 27 not an 9. I have seen this vehicle in person and even have a picture of its data plate

 If your in CA you cna see the vehicle at the American Military museum in El Monte. He also owns the jeep and several other vehicles from the show and movie and where the ones who rented most the vehicles

 I love the end in episode 2.05 where Hawkeye pulls the bathroom with the General in it and Radar is yelling at Hawkeye to stop... :lol:

The ambulance today. It was destroyed in the brush fire that destroyed the set during filming of the finale.

 The ambulance left at Malibu Canyon after the fire is actually the WC54(?) used in the later seasons. (note square-flat hood as opposed to the sloping hood of the WC27.
