With the help of a magnifying glass it's possible to understand the shape and length of the rear scripts that identify it as an Austin Mini Cooper S MkI. Another detail is that it seems to have twin-tanks, factory fitted to all S cars from the 1966 model year on. Very attractive in this Tartan red / black roof colour-scheme. It's not usual to see a Mini in this scenery, but it seems that between 1960 and 1967 around 10000 Minis went to the US. |
