Impossible really to tell if it is a Series II/IIa or a III. More likely to be a II/IIa in my eyes, as the split tailgate was more common on early ones IIRC, as the station wagon rear door became more popular. |

I would agree with Series II/IIa. The track looks a bit narrower, too. |

The army would not use 30 year old Landies in active service - I'd guess perhaps 10 years at most. I can't comment on this Landie's features but would be surprised at anything earlier than late 70s. |
