I think these are later tail lights, but I'm not sure when did they first introduce those? |

1958, however it has the grille and bumpers of a 1952-54. I'd say it's an older car that has been facelifted by the owner(s). -- Last edit: 2020-08-25 17:21:19 |

Customer: Hello? I have a question. I wanted to... Karl Deutsch: Bitte sprechen Sie Deutsch mit mir, immerhin bin ich Karl Deutsch! Customer: But then most of the readers won't understand?! Karl Deutsch: WHAT THE... *empty face* Ok, then. What's the matter? Customer: My dad's 12M, you know. Still runs fine and all, it's just... can't see the sky and stuff. And people can't see me inside! Looks very closed and very old, you know what I mean? Could you maybe... Karl Deutsch: Hold my Koelsch! |

Kölsch? That's like a joke for us East Germans. Back to the car. You mean Deutsch modified it as convertible and later version some years later?! Something like this is missing nowadays IMO. If nobody see you in your car, you drive the wrong one or you are irrelevant. There are people that could drive a Golf IV but it appears they are everywhere present... |

I guess that's what happened. New Deutsch convertibles could be ordered via the Ford dealer's network, but Karosserie Deutsch Köln reportedly converted used cars in a similar way. |
