Just saw the film and it was a four door Bel Air, I believe. It had the white ribbed insert on the fins. The odd thing about this scene that is set in Cuba but likely filmed at Pinewood is that there was a '64 or '65 Ranchero (light blue?) parked on the same street. I am realizing as I write this that this may be a nod to Oddjob's vehicle in Goldfinger.....but regardless, the US embargo on selling goods in Cuba began in 1961, so this most likely is an anaachronism. They need some car experts from here to be consultants on these films!!! |

And at Pinewood Studios. This looks like the same Bel Air on a studio backlot: https://www.reel-vehicles.com/vehicles?itemId=hpb7e83p58vy6ahomrixia6o0y8alr Backlot set with Ladas marked as Cuban police cars: https://www.reel-vehicles.com/vehicles?itemId=c077dtq40vr8c5mbusxtvht0pqhscv |

And usual for faked Cuba, they're top-restored cream puffs. Here are some real 57 Chevys in Cuba: https://live.staticflickr.com/5610/15173195013_69e374b214_b.jpg https://www.imago-images.de/bild/st/0073585107/w.jpg |

Good to know. My interest in Bond film ephermera has drastically declined as time has passed. Regardless, my original point is that the '65 Ranchero is an anachronism used in the Cuba setting. |
