From what can be seen this is Park Ward’s design #991 for the S2 Continental. The design then became MPW #2006 with paired headlamps instead of single, and used for the SC III and Bentley S3 chassis. The Park Ward identification was however used until mid 1963, when MPW was adopted. The numberplate is useless for dating as it is a March 1966 London series used for re-issues. Unless a view of the front magically becomes available it is difficult to separate the two, except if someone recognises that hideous white steering wheel. |
