T2a, 1968+, probably Westfalia-interior, but other companies had also offered similar camping-stuff for the T2. |

1970/72 by the rectangular side marker on the door. 1968/69 models had round ones - and not on the door. |

What is that pedestrian rack in front? ![]() BTW, a MY 1971 (Flat hubcaps, but without the flares on front fenders) An original Westfalia from this year would have had its roof top hinged in front, with a visible rubber gasket over the C-pillar. This hasn't. If you look closer you will see the pop-up top in the front half of the roof. This fits perfectly the Dorper Touring Camper Special Model No 1 or Model No. 2 with an optional Pop up Top Type A (in fact, all items were optional) so rather a camping conversion based on a 1971 Window Van. |

You are quite right, tore-40. 1971 model year due to the new wheels. |

To admins: 1971, not 1970 as listed. Not a Westfalia Camper, but a Window Van with a camping conversion - probably a 'Dorper Touring Camper Special' kit. |

With these new pictures (and a closer look at the main image) rather a 1972, new rear end but old front and bumpers both ends. @Gamer, if you have seen this movie, could you see clearly if there were windows all the way and on both side? If not, then the windows would be part of the convertion, and rather based on a cheaper Delivery Van. |

Unfortunately no view of the other side, but there were only two windows on the side we're looking at. |

I agree with tore-40's assessment. |
