eLMeR ◊ 2015-11-28 20:55	1939 for sure, due to the shape of the upper rod of the grille and to the lack of small park lamps on the fender, but a VD would mean a 158.5/4.03 m wheelbase. From what can be seen, this truck could also be a VB (dual rear wheels with a 133"/3.38 m wheelbase). 1939-40 1½-ton models were sold as Heavy-Duty: (1940 Chevrolet truck line excerpt)
