More pictures. There is a Series II that shows up as a double in the tunnel scenes only, and a kit/fiberglass? car used for the drift and jump scene. Asking admins to see if those can be added as separate entries. Strong three star candidate, if not four star, even though it is not central to the film. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Series II car used only in tunnel scenes: /vehicle_1739324-Jaguar-E-Type-1968.html Stunt made-for-movie replica here: /vehicle.php?id=1739325 Oh - let's not forget this fantastic homage to the comic books in the opening gambit (Definitely watch the film for the explanation. Mind, the car chase in ineptly directed): ![]() -- Last edit: 2022-12-29 00:24:49 |

@dsl - In a way, this is a homage to the comics. It's not insinuated that the XKE actually jettisoned the back end in the film though; it could have been trailered. ![]() -- Last edit: 2022-12-31 17:04:08 |
