electra225 ◊ 2020-10-29 14:32	I want to imagine this car in light blue because the very first time I visited Israel in 1988 I saw a beautiful but not complete (it lacke done of the rear doors) 1960 Impala 4 door sedan in white over light blue and shot a picture with my Kodak Instamatic. It had been originally owned by the most luxurious hotel in East-Gerusalem (the part of the town under Jordanian rule until the 1967 war) and had served for many year afterthat but in 1988 was abandoned in front of the hotel which, of course, since the war, had suffered loosing a substantial part of its original customers. While I was sooting the photos I was approached by a very young Palestinian boy, very surprised by my interest in that "scrap" and I found easier to tell him that I was a crazy foreigner "Ajnabi Majnoun" looking for old cars. He laughed a lot. I will never forget that moment in my life, namely that car, that hotel, that face and that camera. When I found it I picture with my phone and try to post here if you wish. In the picture if I remember well there is just the car
