ahight ◊ 2020-10-30 19:20	Now looking through listings...how do we tell if it's a Cabriolet or Rabbit Convertible. I read somewhere that it changed in 1985. Was there a noticeable change besides the rear badge? Maybe bumper guards? This one looks to have the older wheel design, so maybe Rabbit Convertible? -- Last edit: 2020-10-30 19:22:32
ahight ◊ 2020-10-30 19:42	Looks like the ones with "Cabriolet" had a little VW badge next to the "Volkswagen" badge just like the 86 and 87+ models had. Those with the Rabbit badge just had the word "Volkswagen" -- Last edit: 2020-10-30 19:43:47
night cub ◊ 2021-07-24 08:14	This one has the 1980-83 wheel arch trim, the color looks like the 1980-81 Indiana Red (the 1982-83 dark red was less orange tint and more maroon), and it looks like it has the more square headrests and larger dash of 1981.
