I've just watched the film. Eddie Constantine picks up a batch of cars at a Skoda distribution plant in Czechoslovakia so I expect this covered car on the transporter's rear trailer is a Skoda - possibly a Felicia convertible (there's an uncovered white one at the front on the upper deck- presumably to protect it from the damp wintry north European weather. Curiously it disappears later somewhere during the action en route back to Hamburg (a continuity issue!).

The film was not shot in Czechoslovakia, so the covered car is probably not a Skoda.

Part of the film was shot in the UK with a disguised AEC Mercury standing on for the Mercedes-Benz car transporter.

Long shot - might be a Frogeye Sprite with some padding under the cover?? Doesn't make a lot of sense if this is a real Czech scene, but small size, glimpses of side window/door and front bumper could match. Front edge of wing and peak of headlights also match. Are these Skodas RHD??

It wasn't filmed in Czechoslovakia. To me, covering the car because they couldn't get enough Skodas to fill the transporter is the most likely explanation.
