Whoever changed it to 'LS 600 Alexander'. I really don't think 'LS 600' should be part of the 'Alexander' model name. According to the brochures: http://lloydselig.com/lloyd1958.shtml (this 1958 brochure is simply labeled as 'Alexander', without '600'; also, hence the 'Alexander' script on the fenders) http://www.lloydselig.com/lloyd1957.shtml (this 1957 brochure is labeled as '600', hence no 'Alexander' script on the fenders) https://www.classiccarcatalogue.com/LLOYD_1958.html (also here) '600' and 'Alexander' were separate models which were sold alongside, however they had a few different exterior elements. Also, it's mentioned here: Translated: At the very least, the 'LS' should be omitted for Alexander models. -- Last edit: 2020-11-06 15:47:23 |
