MY 1962 1963 1964 the lettering STUDEBAKER HAWK only 1963MY His goal was to make it look more european, while it reminds me of Ford Thunderbird a lot. He might have Mercedes in mind, but here it is compared with Borgward more often!
Commander 57 ◊ 2020-12-11 02:23	Good summary but one correction. The 1962 decklid overlay also said "Studebaker Hawk" but the lettering was not as distinct or visible so it was altered for '63. Here is a photo of the '62 overlay.
