From left to right: AWE Wartburg 311 (1956-61) Opel Rekord [P2] (1961-63) AWE Wartburg 311 (1956-61) Sachsenring Trabant P50 (1957-62) ?? -- looks familiar, but I cannot name it. AWE Wartburg 311 (1956-61) AWE Wartburg 311-5 Camping (1957-61) |

I think the familiar one is Moskvitch 403, and possibly the blue one to the left of it to. |

You are right, on both accounts. The blue one is far too big to be a Sachsenring Trabant! Silly me! Could the Moskvitch be a 407 from 1958 instead of the 403 from 1962? I think they look almost identical. |

They look very much alike, indeed. I checked a few pictures to see if there are any differences. It seems the "squares" in the grille are slightly bigger on the 403 so I don´t think it´s a 407 |

The blue one is definitely Miskvitch 407. 403 had quite different rear lights and trunk grip. |

More exactly the Camping-Limousine will be a 1961+ by the lettering at the hood. EDIT: In fact lettering on the edge of hood is to see already in 1960 brochure, so it was introduced even before modification of bumpers (what was in/for 1961). -- Last edit: 2017-01-04 16:28:50 |
