FNG 146 Operator: Eastern Counties Chassis: Bristol K6A Body: Strachan L27/28R http://www.bristolsu.co.uk/k/operatordetails/easterncounties/fng146.htm Edit: thanks to the keen eye, it was converted in 1953 into a K5G with Eastern Coachworks H30/26R body. -- Last edit: 2020-12-25 14:25:06 |

You made the same mistake as I did originally, and I was corrected by someone who knows more than I do. FNG146 was new as a K6A (AEC engine) with Strachan *lowbridge* body, fleet number LK6. If you read the history in the link to Gerry Tormey's website, by the time it appeared in this film it had been renumber LK39 and refurbished as a K5G (Gardner engine) with an Eastern Coachworks body which you can see is *highbridge* (full height). -- Last edit: 2020-12-25 14:01:53 |

It was literally written in the same page, but I couldn't be bothered to read the rest. Shame on me |

You're in good company. I've been trying (in vain) to find a photo of the vehicle as originally built. |
