Probably bulgarian Chavdar. It was made in Bulgaria in cooperation with CS. Czech [or French in origin] engine and chassis from Avia [Saviem] and bulgarian body. |

Chavdar LC-51? It's not exactly the same... http://transport.asi.pwr.wroc.pl/2-153318.html |

But this bus is from 1989. There is much more older model in this movie. I remember them very well on CS roads in 1980s, but they disappeared nearly completely in 1990s. I tried to find some photos on web but unsuccesfully, they are very rare today. ![]() |

The only older variant I found is the 'Чавдар М-80': http://www.bgclassiccars.hit.bg/4avdar2.html As you can see the details don't match. Despite the windows the 'Чавдар LC-51' matches quite well. Here are two links that give a bit of background information: http://www.carhistorybg.com/makes.php?lid=1&id=7 Link to "bg.wikipedia.org" |

Not only the windows unfortunately, the LC-51 had also different rear end: http://www.trolejbus.cz/dopravci/cavdar-ruml.jpg Small Ikaruses based on Avia also looks different. Anyway if the chassis is Czech, thanks to the size, it must be an Avia. |

It's Ikarus 553 with Avia body - http://www.busztipusok.hu/553/553-11.jpg Rear lights seems to be not original. |
