Looks like a dummy - no suspension or brake connections. And I'd be surprised if real racing bodywork could support all that extra weight. Formula Ford or similar budget categories such as VW (using Beetle engines) or Imp-based F4 were popular in 70s, but by 91 film date may have evolved. Very skinny tyres. |

Traced at last - it's Stirling Moss launching the Formula Vauxhall Junior championship at the 1990 Motor show, with an engineless chassis commissioned by Vauxhall from Van Diemen. Race cars (91+) used Nova GSi engines with 112bhp.![]() ![]() |
