Animatronixx ◊ 2021-04-12 14:50	The architectural gem seen here is the beautiful Feierabendhaus Knapsack in Hürth-Knapsack, near Cologne. Built in 1957 and designed by Karl Hell, it still serves as event location today and you can find many exterior and interior pictures on the website, some further exterior shots here and a few videos of the beautiful interior here. I once had the great pleasure of attending a Rockabilly concert event right there (of course, we did arrive in a 1959 Cadillac ) and it felt like a pure time travel! But even without an event and hundreds of people celebrating the 1950s, this building has a magical aura to it and I recommend a visit to everyone who values the aesthetics of this era.
