 This is the European Civic I was talking about earlier. It was based on the Japanese Honda Domani and was sold alongside the international Civic Hatchback while the coupe was imported from America. The 4 door EJ/EK sedan was not sold in Europe, this space was instead occupied by the Accord until 1996.

 I must correct myself, it seems the Civic sedan was also sold in Germany, just saw one in the same spot two days in a row, with repeater and white indicators.

 In Italy the 1996+ Sedan wasn't sold, but I think there are a few EU models listed here, and I saw one with Swiss plate some years ago.

 In one period catalogue, I have now at hand, is written that Swindon plant indeed started to make them at the end of 1994, but in other one is info that the car had its premiere at the 1995 IAA.

 OK, I also did check some more old paper sources. So far nothing against 1995 also when it comes to our market.
In interview from the late 1994, president of Honda representation is optimisitc about the future of this model, when is asked abut the year 1995.
