Holy anachronism! This is a 1995-1997 Model Year Volvo 850, per the taillight revisions introduced in September 1994 and discontinued in June 1997 (in USA). This scene takes place in October 1990, when the US spec 850 wouldn't even be introduced until October 24, 1992 as a '93 model. Realistically, not even available in Sweden (until mid-1991) and at best prototype testing in Arizona & Sweden at Volvo centres (in Oct 1990). Why couldn't they just find a 740 or 760 for this scene? Or a well kept 240? This is glaring lol, when they did almost everything else to perfection. |

Boils my blood lol. I feel for the people responsible for setting this stuff up, when it comes to background shots getting in the way. Otherwise, they better clean up their acts or just stick to modern day lol. |
