For 99,9% it is Jelcz 043 E. These Jelczes were built on Skoda chassis, hence after many years and abroad they can be identified sometimes as Skoda too. Since 1969 to East Germany was exported Jelcz 043 E, which characteristic feature were non-divided side windows - so like in this bus on pics. Also this type of door config in body without roof windows was Jelcz thing, never seen anything like that in CS made regular Skodas/Karosas. EDIT: One more info. I just opened another book "Pojazdy samochodwe i przyczepy Jelcz 1971-83" by W. Połomski and there is info that at the turn of 60s and 70s to East Germany were exported not only complete buses (625 vehicles in case of model 043), but also 471 pcs 043's bodies, which I bet in East Germany were placed on used Skoda chassis. -- Last edit: 2021-04-21 22:42:12 |
