Agree same van - too many identical details. The other plate is a joke so useless. This seems real despite DVLA colour change, although maybe a Police mock-up rather than genuine ex-coppers. |

There's a few archive pics of BxxVYT Met vehicles, so probably did start its life with the Met. |

Can't believe I've stumbled across it - yes, genuine ex-Met! And would you believe it, started out completely differently in green with a roof box as a bomb squad van. See Thames News Archives video: https://youtu.be/2VLBA7t0feo?t=53 Owner Dave Butler in comments says: "The Green transit was a Metropolitan Police Anti terrorist response vehicle! The specially made roof box contained extendable ladders, brooms, tarpaulins and other specialist equipment that ordinarily would have gone in the back but due to the amount of Equipment would not fit in the rear. It served from 1985 to 1993 And attended every live and post incident during the IRA campaign. I am very fortunate to own this vehicle and it still attends Classic car shows in police livery." -- Last edit: 2021-05-22 18:01:45 |

Another possible/probable sighting, although slight differences in Police signage, and without fogs and white strips on bumper. All of which are easily changed. |
