Changing from 1951 to 1952. Note lack of hood lettering. |

Bumper guards are definitely 1951 - the hood letters are invisible due to the quality of the film. |

Side view, note that it also lacks the rear fender side-trim present on the 52 200s: |

Only the 1952 200 Deluxe had the rear fender trim. The base 200 rear fenders looked the same as 1951. Perhaps the lighting is what makes the bumper guards seem like 1951's(?) The hood front is really pretty clear and definitely does not show any sign of lettering. Still feel this is likely a 1952. -- Last edit: 2021-02-27 15:55:47 |

Sorry about the rear fender argument, I had looked at the 300 thinking it was the 200. I stand by what I said about the bumper guards, though. Compare: 1951 - 1952. I've watched enough film in this quality to know that the details such at letters wouldn't be visible in this resolution, even less so without the presence of the sun to reflect them. For example, the hood badge of this 1950 Ford would definitely be visible under normal circumstances, but it isn't. -- Last edit: 2021-02-27 18:43:36 |

OK. I'll concede the point to you. Perhaps at some point, a better photo can be used. |
