Tallinn TV tower, the morning of August 21, 1991. The coup has failed, the Baltics' 50 year wish for independence finally granted...  Though in real life it happened much quicker. In the episode they were holding Soviet soldiers back from entering the tower, in real life Estonia's interrim PM Edgar Savisaar ordered the Soviet tanks to leave as it was clear the coup had failed, and the tankists followed without hesitation. -- Last edit: 2021-03-15 20:17:13 |
