 Sad remains of a 48 Studebaker Champion 2-door sedan.

 Interesting. Clearly not a '49 style bumper, but what's left of the deformed grille more closely resembles the 1949 style.
Will leave as '48, though.
Bumper guard is too wide to the side, as well.
