I would say it is a Citroën C6 based hearse. The small image shows a C6G from 1932 with a slightly different rear body. |

Good find!. I know the picture in Alexander´s post for years, but I wouldn´t have recognized such a car here. Anyway, coachbuilder appears undetectable. |

Renamed to Praga according comment made on movie page by Cinemart. |

Some sort of proof would be nice before renaming. The Praga Grand (1927-32) comes close, but I don't like the sideline under the window. |

Well, Cinemart seems to work on movie sets, as he already provided previously many info on the cars themselves used in French movies involving old cars, that's why I believed what he said. Edit: well actually I think I mixed him with another member, as he did not post so much -- Last edit: 2008-06-12 13:52:10 |

He could be right, but I never trust comments without any reference that I can cross-check. If it is a Praga it quite certainly is a Grand. The others (Mignon, Alfa) are shorter. @Animatronixx: Ingo, hast Du irgendetwas über Praga in Deiner Sammlung was passen könnte? |

Leider habe ich ganz wenig Material über Praga / Unfortunately I have very little information on Praga hearses. At least coachbuilder "Brožík a synové" (= Brožík & Sons) of Pilsen/ CZ is mentioned to have built at least one hearse body on Praga chassis around 1926/27, that allegedly looked very similar to the famous Kovap scale model http://skubi.cz/catalog/images/kovap0604.jpg. I have never seen the original car, but it could probably be the one shown here. -- Last edit: 2008-09-23 16:58:26 |

Finally solved: It's a 1928 Pohřební vůz, indeed coachbuilt by Carrosserie Brožík of Plzeň, CZ. |
