1941-47 Art Deco stake truck with heavy-duty wheel rims and dual rear wheels, so a 1½-ton model indeed. 1941-42 1½-ton models were officially called Heavy-Duty. And the only difference between 1941 and 1942 models seems to be the painted grille on some 1942 models. So without view of the grille of this one... If 134½" / 3.42 m wheelbase, then a YR (MR for 1942). YS (MS in 1942) code for the 160" / 4.06 m wheelbase. This one seems to be a long wheelbase model. ⇒ 1941 Chevrolet Heavy-Duty Stake [YS]? -- Last edit: 2014-12-31 20:15:04 |
