This is a Locomobile Model 48. It appears to be from the late teens/early 1920s. it has Westinghouse shock absorbers on the front springs and is a dual-cowl phaeton. This was the most expensive and luxurious automobile in the U.S. at the time. The engine is a huge 525 cubic inch six cylinder T-Head. The front view of this car is what gives away the brand with that distinctive radiator shell. |
