Fiat 600 D with non-suicide doors was imported and sold for some time (mostly by Pekao) in parallel with Zastavas 750 (sold mostly by Motozbyt). In this case most likely entire engine lid was taken from Zastava. Of course it can be also bigger mongrel, where Fiat's body was "married" with more mechanical parts taken from Yugoslav made car - donor For some time Pekao (and later maybe even Pewex) sold Fiat 600 D or Zastava bodies (as spare parts), on the other hand body of this poor thing doesn't look like new at all Just for the record Fiat of course introduced non-suicde doors in 1964 and Zastava during the 1968. Last year of Zastava 750's import was 1967. In 1968 and 1969 only 4 (2 + 2) personal cars were imported from Yugoslavia - so far God only knows what models and for what purpose. -- Last edit: 2021-05-15 21:21:40
