There is a topic about this car on the "Fiat and Furious" pages. It is a 1800 S, it has a Polski Fiat badge just for fun (placed by owner), but actually it is not one of them and in 1979 has been individually imported from Switzerland (notice - side mirrors). Same guy also owns an original Polski Fiat 132p 1600, interesting why they didn't show it in this program (maybe he has bought it later). Anyway here we have one of the last cars from first serie (1972-1974). http://motonews.pl/sh_forum.php?op=fvt&t=109542&c=0&f=25 -- Last edit: 2008-01-26 20:58:34 |

The side mirrors are the aftersales-market "Talbot"-mirrors, made in West-Berlin. Their shape is typical, on the pic in the forum you also can recognize the small green logo on the top. It looks like a half-civil police-car (blue lights and CB-radio). The Talbot-company in West-Berlin (closed since several years) had kept their name from pre-war-times, when a few French Talbot-cars were assembled there. After the war they only had produced parts, mainly aftersales-market extras like that mirrors. |

Coz this car was an SB-car (SB-Służba Bezpieczeństwa, something like KGB in CCCP). |
