Could any american user explain to me what's the difference between E-Series and Econoline? i always doubt about them and i dont knwo for sure which ones are E-Series and which ones are Econoline, thanks for who explains it |

There is no major difference between the Econoline and E-Series. The Econoline name was used up to the 1998 model year. For the 1999 model year Ford changed the name to E-Series on the vehicle itself. However Ford continued to print Sales Brochures, Service Manuals and Technical Documents using the Econoline name up until 2000. In 2001 Ford started printing manuals and documents concerning the vehicle with the E-Series name. -- Last edit: 2008-01-27 18:01:06 |

This one is a 1983-1991 model because it has the blue ford oval. |

Made for ROK. Reason explained here: /vehicle.php?id=442488#Comment1058813 |

Not this again At the risk of this turning into another long conversation: How are we sure this is an imported model specifically for the ROK versus one imported at a later time from the US or somewhere else? |

Well, weighting a mass order of these particular Econolines being shipped to S. Korea and Japan each and a very thin chance of a incidental import (who would import a aftermarket ambulance?), the chances of this being a original ROK model (according to the info, these had both amber inserts and regular USA-spec taillights) seems pretty good. |

I am removing the made for ROK tag on this one, your reasoning behind this one doesn't fly. This one does not have the same taillights as the other one in the link. As such even if this one was originally sold new in Korea there are no visual difference in this shot so the tag is no appropriate why can't you understand that??!? -- Last edit: 2011-11-26 02:55:13 |
