It is a 1938 Maybach SW 38, original Chassis number 1999, and belonged to the Press- und Walzwerk Düsseldorf of the Thyssen group. After the war, 1950/51 it got a new body by coachbuilder Spohn, and also a new SW 42 engine. It is now on display in the Maybach Museum in Neumarkt, Oberpfalz, Germany. http://www.traumautoarchiv.de/html/7902.html |
