1965+ 1200 ( since it's not possible to correctly distinguish the shape of the hubcaps or even if it has them ) |

Lovely faked plate - where is EG? |

Landkreis Eggenfelden, according to Wikipedia; stopped issuing registrations in 1974. Link to "de.wikipedia.org" Ingo, it looks like a perfectly good DIN plate to me; why is it fake? |

Oooh, Eggenfelden :shame: How embarassing for me as a collector of such plates, to miss it... I don't have an "EG" in my collection. Bavaria is far away... Anyways: I thought about a fake, because the "E" looks a bit too short and it's unusual to have a police-car of a tiny town in Bavaria in a movie, which plays several hundreds of kilometers away, in annother (Bundes-)Land, around Cologne ("K" for Köln and "DN" for Düren). -- Last edit: 2008-01-31 21:03:19 |

Oh, fair enough ... I had no idea where Eggenfelden was, to be honest |

Translation in English: location shall be Düren (west of Cologne), the police-VW is from Bavaria, but the windows of the guesthouse in the background are typical for the far North of Germany. |
