Means "Classic" the basic version? I'm not really sure, if it's a 2004. The Astra's 2002+ had darker back lamps (or didn't this go for basic versions?) |

I think Classic means the old version. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opel_Astra#Astra_G.2FB |

Better ask your wife! So I did. "Classic" is the basic-version, but there was a cheaper version, "Eco". The "Eco" was often used by authorities for their fleet. So the German Bundeswehr had "Eco", in matt-olive-green and in the blue above (the blue for the airforce and for civil employees. My wife has such an blue Bundeswehr-"Eco"-Astra - if you try to mount a stereo, you'll getting pissed as hell! Nothing is inside. No radio-holder, no aerial, no speakers, no cables, absolutely nothing. |

Oh, wikipedia says, that I'm wrong with the "Classic". So the Polish made "Classic" was on the same level like the pre-2002 Astra? I'm thinking about the back lamps. And the blue colour like on the pic above, is the basic colour, it was made for the basic-model over the whole production-time. -- Last edit: 2008-02-01 20:05:00 |

Classic or not, not all of them had darker taillamps since 2002. Examples: - '03 Diesel: Link to "cgi.ebay.pl" - '05 in Slovakia: Link to "hyperinzercia.sk" Edit: no "Classic" badge BTW. This livery was used since ca 2001. For 5-door htb we can set code [T98]. -- Last edit: 2011-06-17 20:00:32 |
