77-78 Plymouth Fury/Dodge Monaco? |

Well, it's definitely a Chrysler B-Body police car. I think that someone here knows how to narrow it down with the tailights. |

Coronet judging by the solid red on the taillights |

1971-1976 Coronet I would say |

1975-1978 Dodge Coronet |

There was no 1977-78 Coronet. For 1977 Dodge moved the "Monaco" name down to this platform. Besides, 1977-78 models had amber turn signals in the taillights which this one doesn't have. |

The 1971 model looked more like a Plymouth Satellite than a Monaco |

I can tell you with dead certainty that it is no earlier than a 1974. That rear bumper is the variant used to comply with the revised U.S. bumper restrictions; beginning '74. That leaves the '75/6 B-body Fury and the '74 Coronet. Since the Fury had amber inner taillights, my bet is that we're looking at a 1974 Dodge Coronet. -Kurt |
