Harly-Davidson - a prewar model EL (1200cc side valve) I think.

Le model EL étéit équipé du moteur Knucklehead. La moto présentée ici est équipé d'un moteur Flathead de 750 cm3. Il s'agit soit d'une VL ou d'une WL. De toute façon c'est une Harley.

It was the UL I was thinking of. I would date this one at 1937 or 1938. I am not sure how to distinguish the smaller 750 from the biiger model.

It is a 1937-1948 Harley-Davidson U-series flathead. (It is easily distinguished from the W-series (750cc flathead) by the fact that the rear chain drive is on the left side, while the W-series has it on the right side). One of the pictures reveals that it has "high compression" aluminium heads - so the model designation would be UL (1200cc) or ULH (1300cc). It is impossoble to tell which without much better photos. The design of the tail lamp and gear shift lever suggests it is post war. So even if the movie wants us to believe it is a prewar model many things point towards that the actual bike is a post war model - not that it is all that much of a difference. Of course the bike could be a mix of parts - but based on the most prominent features it would say it was a 1947 UL (1200cc sidevalve with high compression aluminum heads).
