I have read that during the filming the Beatles sat on this bus during breaks and all four signed their names on the upper deck ceiling. Apparently the parts of the film including the bus were later cut out of the movie. Later the bus went on to be used in promotional work and for this its roof was removed! Wonder where the remains are now, it would be worth a fortune! Later the bus was fully restored and fitted with a roof from another scrapped RT type bus. "Yes it was used in To Sir With Love too. Good pics of it on the school trip scenes. It also had the fake registrations LLP829 and BXD51." |
