Filmed in Chile. 1967 Acadian Beaumont Custom - Which is quite fascinating, because of Chile's laws regarding local production. Canadian-sourced Acadians were built in Chile from 1962 to 1971, only as six-cylinder two-door models, producing about 1500 cars over that period. In Chile, the Beaumont was never separated from the Acadian brand as it was in Canada. Chilean Beaumonts had locally-produced fiberglass hoods and trunklids. They were powerful and luxurious by local standards, and quite desirable. Again, fascinating: Link to "ripituc.blogspot.com" ![]() |
