It looks like first series from 1979, but the black color of bumper and especially of the pillars doesn't match. Also I think it isn't one of the pre face-lifted special editions. -- Last edit: 2008-02-15 20:39:44 |

I agree it's a Visa from the first series and some of the details of this car make me think it can be a rare - it was just produced for some months - 1981 ( introduced July 1980 ) Super X. This version was the only one that had the plastic protection on the rear wing, it had these two plastic mirrors, the headrests, the contrasting black bumpers and window frames - the sunroof was optional. It only lacks the C-pillar stripes, but I´m not sure if they were present with all body colours. |

I thought Super X had bumpers in body color, but you are right there were also some different color's combinations. Sad that we can't see whether it has this ugly front spoiler. ![]() http://www.citroenvisa.net/visa4.htm |

For instance, you can see here how it was with red body: http://fabvt.blogspot.com/2007/08/citron-visa-super-x-1980.html ![]() |

I'm sorry, but this can't be a 1981 Super X because it wasn't available in white... The black paint under the windscreen indicates it's a Visa II with four cylinder engine, the side trim and absence of the rear spoiler a Super E. |
