If filmed in Los Angeles, it may be from the Nethercutt Collection. This one is befuddling me. The smooth cowl suggests a date of 1915, yet it still has gas headlights and a brass radiator like pre-1913 cars. The fenders are uncrowned, which would indicate it being an upmarket car. Closest match so far is 1912 Amplex. -- Last edit: 2019-02-03 12:55:11 |

1912 Oakland is extremely close, but the cowl area is all wrong. |

Wait a moment... Could it be this car? /vehicle_32391-Chalmers-Model-10-1913.html I see both movies were filmed in Los Angeles. Here's the car from Chaplin in HD: -- Last edit: 2020-07-13 14:54:01 |

It could very well be the same car. Ratio is a bit off in this page but I think it is the same one. |
