Looks like a Chrysler to me. I'm not 100% sure, don't hold me to that. |

I'm with ford guy. This is a circa 1980 Chrysler New Yorker. |

Ok, you got me! In this shot you get to see some of the interior door trim, so I believe it is a 1980 Fifth Avenue. You experts here can tell me if Fifth Avenue was a subseries of New Yorker for 1980. http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/main.php?g2_itemId=33809 I'll leave my older comments up to show what a fool I was! But clearly these cars were in direct competition to the Lincoln Continental Town Coupe. -- Last edit: 2008-02-22 03:53:53 |

79'-81' New Yorker - Fifth Ave was a premium package on this car. Can't say from the photo if this NY has it or not. |

Look at the upholstery on the main pic, if that helps. |

The Fifth Avenue did have unique leather/vinyl upholstery but I can't tell from the picture if this car has it. I believe that the Fifth Ave package was only available in 4 colors over it's 3 year life and the only light color was 'Designer Cream/Beige'. This car looks 'Spinnaker White' to me so I say we just call it a 1979 New Yorker. |

Let's call it a 79 New Yorker then? |
